Machinery Sales & Administration Coordinator
Join Carrfields Machinery in Ashburton in a full-time varied sales administration role supporting premium agricultural machinery brands.
Carrfields Machinery is looking for a capable and organised Machinery Sales & Administration Coordinator to join our Ashburton-based team.
This is a varied administration and coordination role supporting our machinery sales team, suppliers and customers. You’ll be involved in sales administration, wholegood inventory, purchase orders, logistics, warranty registration, invoicing, reconciliations and system/process improvements as we continue our transition to Microsoft Business Central.
This role would suit someone who enjoys detail, accuracy and follow-through, and who is confident working with systems, processes and people across a busy operational environment.
What You’ll Do
As a key member of our Machinery team, you’ll provide administration and sales support across our machinery operations, working closely with our sales team, suppliers, customers, service teams and freight providers.
You will:
Provide administration support to the Machinery sales team.
Manage machinery administration and logistics emails and phone calls.
Assist with wholegood purchase orders, supplier confirmations and stock records.
Support machinery logistics, including shipping documentation, freight and customs processes.
Assist with machine invoicing, sales contracts, finance documentation and reconciliations.
Register new machines for warranty and support PPSR checks for used machinery.
Maintain accurate information across systems and support reporting as required.
Play a proactive role in supporting process improvements as the Machinery Group transitions to Microsoft Business Central.
This role offers plenty of variety and would suit someone who enjoys being organised, working with detail, and being part of a busy team where good communication really matters.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys supporting others and keeping processes moving. You will bring:
Experience in an administration, sales support, logistics, inventory or finance support role.
Experience working with purchase orders, sales orders, invoicing, freight or stock systems would be an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good Microsoft Office skills.
Confidence learning and using systems, with Microsoft Business Central or another ERP system being an advantage.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of internal teams, customers and suppliers.
A practical, positive approach and willingness to help where needed.
Machinery or agricultural sector experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential. More important is that you are organised, accurate, systems-minded and comfortable coordinating information between sales, service, suppliers, freight providers and customers.
